From the Desk of the President
June 9, 2020
Greetings Salter/Saulter Family,
It is my fervent prayer that this correspondence finds each of you and your entire families well. These unprecedented times of uncertainty have altered our utter being. Nonetheless, we put our faith and trust in God, the one who is in control of all things.
As you all know, we are approaching the 51st Salter/Saulter Reunion-our maiden voyage to a Virtual Family Reunion! I for one am thankful to God for the advanced technology and family technologists, which affords the opportunity to move forward with our annual celebration! So please return your Registration Form (including your email address and/or mobile phone number which is needed to provide the connection information for our Virtual Family Reunion) and your family dues to Rose Stamps by June 30. Her address is on the form. If you cannot locate your paper copy, you can print one from our facebook dropbox or website (salter-saulter.com) or just handwrite the required information and submit if you do not have a printer.
I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the Arizona Host Committee for all their planning only to have it attacked by this pandemic. Thank God they were able to renegotiate the contract as soon as it was legally possible. This resulted in the cancellation of the contract, without penalty and establishing one for 2021. Because of this, another wonderful opportunity is being provided each of us. In that we will not bare the expenses of travel, lodging and a banquet meal, those who are able please make donations to the Salter/Saulter Family Memorial Scholarship Fund (SSFMS)! All checks should be sent to Rose Stamps.
The Scholarship Committee is extending the application deadline for a 2020 SSFMS. The new deadline is September 30, 2020. Extending the deadline will help facilitate applicants getting their high school transcripts and acceptance letters of enrollment from their post-secondary school of choice. We will also allow some flexibility if communication has been initiated with the Scholarship Committee regarding applicants' delay in receiving the documents from the schools.
Please feel free to contact Marcia Norman Murray, SSFMS Chair if you have additional questions.

I am excited about seeing and interacting with family July 11th-12th! An agenda will be coming soon. May God continue to bless and keep you all!
Blessings and Familial Love,
